Approximately 1,350 Students and Educators Attend Student Leadership Series Events in Oregon
An estimated 1,352 students and educators attended Student Leadership Series events hosted by Woodburn School District and held at Valor Middle School, French Prairie Middle School, and Woodburn High School in Woodburn, OR.  USHLI is very grateful for the opportunity to partner with the three schools and bring the Series back to Oregon. The USHLI partnership with the District was made possible by Benton County District Attorney John Haroldson, the only Latino District Attorney in the state of Oregon.

The Series featured nationally prominent motivational speaker, Gabe Salazar, who is a favorite among students of all ages from middle school to college.
The SLS is USHLI's flagship youth program. The program is designed to motivate students to improve their academic performance, graduate and pursue some level of post-secondary education. An estimated 136,841 have been served to date this year in 19 states and Washington, DC.
