Over 10,000 Students and Educators Attend
Student Leadership Series
Events in Orange County, CA

Over 10,400 students and educators attended Student Leadership Series (SLS) events held at three high schools and eight intermediate schools.  The tour was organized in partnership with the Santa Ana Unified School District and the Orange County Office of Education.  USHLI is very grateful for the generous support from educators at the 11 participating schools, the SAUSD and the OCDoE, and for the overwhelming success of the tour.

The featured speakers were Gabe Salazar and Jimmy Cabrera, who are ranked among the very top motivational speakers in the nation.
The SLS is USHLI's flagship youth program.  Our goal in 2014 is to serve 200,000 students, parents, and educators in 30 states.  The program will serve to motivate students at all grade levels, train parents, and help create a culture of education.  An estimated 32,697 have been served to date in states.

The SLS program focuses on Stay-in-School Rallies for middle school students, Career & College Recruitment Fairs for high school students, Regional Leadership Summits for college students, Leadership Training for parents and Professional Development for educators.
