Over 3,000 Students and Educators Attend Student Leadership Series Events in Texas

An estimated 3,146 students, educators, and trustees attended USHLI Student Leadership Series (SLS) events held at five schools in El Paso. USHLI is very grateful for the leadership and cooperation provided by the Socorro AFT in organizing these events. The event featured nationally prominent motivational speaker, Jaime Carias, who is well known for his ability to inspire students of all ages from middle school to college and engage parents. The SLS is USHLI's flagship youth program. The program is designed to motivate students to improve their academic performance, graduate and pursue some level of post-secondary education.
